divided into different parts depending on the function.
Description of the IP based PC-Therm. The PC-Therm is a people counting device with the imaging optics, sensor, signal processing and interfacing electronics all contained within a molded plastic housing. The unit is normally used in adownward looking manner, with an unhindered view of the target area. The unit functions optically, seeing the heat emitted by people passing underneath as infrared radiation, through a germanium lenswith a 60-degree field of view.
The sensing area is a square on the floor whose width is approximately equal to the mounting height; at 3.5m the unit ‘sees’ a 3.5x3.5m square on the floor. Mounting height ranges from 2.5-4.5m can be coveredwith the standard lens. Sensors with 40 and 20 degrees fields of view offer increased mounting heights.The normal data output is by relay; there are two relays withinthe unit that are software configurable to provide count data from thesystem.
The relays allow stand-alone systems to be implemented by connecting the relays to a simple digital counter, for example. Alternative can the sensors be connected to the PC by Ethernet.

There should be a PC server be installed. This will be a MS Windows Server with Microsoft Web-server and SQLserver.This server runs the PassCheck 4G-application programs (All applications below are included, except MaxiGraph):
